Privacy Policy

This notice explains the information UpVibe may collect, how it is used and shared, and the choices available to users of the mobile app and related support services.

Effective date: August 27, 2026

Last updated: August 27, 2026

1. Scope and contact

This Privacy Policy applies to the UpVibe mobile application, its account and social features, and UpVibe support. Ainnunbetta Media LLC maintains this web-based notice and the support channel for UpVibe.

Questions, access requests, correction requests, or deletion requests may be sent to support@upvibeapp.com. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity and protect an account. Never send a password, one-time security code, or full payment-card details.

2. Information UpVibe may collect

The information collected depends on the features you use and the permissions you grant. It may include:

  • Account information: email address, username, authentication records, age or eligibility information, and account preferences.
  • Profile and content: profile details, photographs, videos, audio, captions, comments, likes, follows, messages, reports, and other content you create or upload.
  • Location information: approximate or precise location when a location-based feature is used and device permission is granted.
  • Device and notification information: device type, operating system, app version, device identifiers, push-notification tokens, language, and notification preferences.
  • Usage and diagnostic information: interactions with feeds and features, searches, viewing activity, app events, crash information, performance data, security events, and IP address.
  • Support and safety information: support requests, reports, appeals, screenshots you choose to provide, and communications with the support team.
  • Transaction information: purchase or subscription status and store receipts. Apple or Google generally processes payment credentials under its own privacy terms.

3. How information is used

Information may be used to:

  • Create, authenticate, secure, and maintain accounts;
  • Host, process, deliver, and display user content;
  • Provide feeds, recommendations, creator and community connections, music features, and local discovery;
  • Process likes, comments, follows, messages, reports, and other interactions;
  • Send service, safety, and push notifications when enabled;
  • Moderate content, investigate reports, prevent abuse, and enforce platform rules;
  • Provide support, respond to privacy requests, and troubleshoot errors;
  • Measure performance, understand feature usage, and improve the service;
  • Protect users, UpVibe, and others from fraud, security threats, and unlawful activity; and
  • Comply with law, legal process, and valid government requests.

4. Public content and sharing

Information you make public—such as a public profile, posted videos, captions, comments, and visible interactions—may be viewed, copied, or shared by other users. Review what you post and use available privacy or audience controls where offered.

Information may also be disclosed to service providers that support cloud hosting, databases, authentication, media storage or processing, notifications, analytics, diagnostics, customer support, security, and app-store transactions. These providers may process information only for the services they provide and under their own applicable terms and safeguards.

Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, complete a corporate transaction, or act with your direction or consent. UpVibe does not claim that public content or information directed to another user will remain private after a recipient has viewed or copied it.

5. Location and device permissions

Location-based discovery requires device permission. You may change location, camera, microphone, photo-library, and notification permissions through your device settings. Disabling a permission may limit the related feature. Device settings do not necessarily delete information previously provided to the service.

6. Messages and burn-message features

UpVibe may offer messages designed to disappear from the chat after being read. A disappearing interface does not prevent a recipient from capturing content and does not by itself guarantee immediate removal from every backup, log, or system needed for security, legal, or operational purposes.

7. Data retention and deletion

Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support legitimate operational needs. Retention periods vary by the type of information and why it is processed.

Use any account-deletion control available in the app, or email support if you cannot access the app. A deletion request may require reasonable identity verification. Some information may remain for a limited period in backups or may be retained where required or permitted for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement. A request does not require another user to delete copies they independently made.

8. Security

UpVibe uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. Data transmitted by the app may be encrypted in transit. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect their credentials and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.

9. Children and age eligibility

UpVibe is not directed to children under 13, and a higher minimum age may apply depending on location, store rating, or feature. Store ratings can differ between Apple and Google Play. If we learn that personal information was collected from a child in violation of applicable requirements, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

10. Your choices and privacy rights

You may be able to update profile information, manage notifications and permissions, delete content, block users, and use reporting or account controls in the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an appeal, and to object to certain processing. These rights may be subject to verification and legal exceptions.

To make a request, email support@upvibeapp.com from the address connected to the account when possible and describe the request. Response times vary; nothing in this notice limits rights or deadlines required by applicable law.

11. Third-party services and international processing

UpVibe may link to or interact with app stores, music services, social platforms, and other third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live, subject to safeguards required by applicable law.

12. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as UpVibe’s features, service providers, ownership, or legal obligations change. The updated date will be revised, and additional notice will be provided when required.
